Auto save workspace is an useful feature

save-workspace plugin is awesome !
This is rather a feature request

When moving from one workspace to another, auto saving the workspace would be useful.
Currently, the workspace needs to be explicitly saved and a new one needs to be opened.

Seems the activity on that project is a bit down though. Any idea when the next release with that feature will be?
