Performance improvements

Hello,

I don't really have a way to gauge performance at the moment, but firefox does have some popups sometimes telling me that random-walk is running walking slowly. Sometimes the whole browser will slow down to the point where I have to stop random-walk, wait a little and then start it again.

Looking at the code, there might be a place for the use of memoization, hashtables instead of for loops and possibly replacing the use of the URL regex by the URL class (unless of course the class doesn't fulfill the requirements for this project).

I imagine there's the possibility of profiling.

Yes, I've noticed the performance issue myself, especially when it's been running for some time. It's as if there's a memory leak but I don't know where. Or it might be a Firefox problem, perhaps it just doesn't like being hammered like that. Investigation is required...

Thanks for the suggestions on how the code might be improved. I'm pretty busy just now but fully intend to do some maintenance over the next couple of months.
