How to change BM5retriever to Embeddingretriver in haystack rest api ?

I have changed the retriever from BM5retriever to Embeddingretriver but I don't see any change in the result so , I doubt if the retriever isn't changed. I also tried to change default squad2 roberta model in the pipelines.haystack-pipeline.yml but that also didn't work. Kindly help me to solve this issue. This is urgent. Thank you so much in advance.

I am trying to use rest api of haystack for document search and information retrieval. The rest api is called by a custom action python script inside rasa chatbot framework.
