I learned about DualPipe scheduling from the technical report of deepspeedk-v3, as shown in the figure below. (Technical report link: https://github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-V3/blob/main/DeepSeek_V3.pdf)

How is the theoretical value of Bubble in DualPipe scheduling derived?

Moreover, is the bubble size different on different devices when the time of F&B is less than the sum of F and B?
