Some disciplines care about the order of the authors, and there is "first named author" in RIOXX. Another author type is "corresponding author". These may be needed especially because RDF does not maintain order.

It occurs to me that these could be roles. However, so far I haven't found a vocabulary that has them. Will keep looking.
