"binary' data type does not exist

Hi. I am using pg driver. According the documentation i use 'binary' data type. But in pg there is not so i get always error with message:
error: type "binary" does not exist

So instead of 'binary' i use 'byea' (pg binary data type). Can you fix this bug ?
