I haven't been able to get video's running in Phonegap apps on 4.4/API19. With the revised Webview and all...

I originally tested on my Nexus 4 running 4.3, I will run a test on 4.4 and verify.

Thanks so much... Video playback seems to be a mystery ever since this last 4.4 webview update. It runs on chromium now, and quite a few features now work completely different. As a frontend-dev, I don't know all the fine details, but it's so frustrating :(

Just made a quick test on my nexus 7. Its working on Android 4.4 if you pass in absolute local file urls. On Android 4.3 absolute and relative file urls are accepted.
