Before opening a feature request

  • I checked the next branch to see if the feature has already been implemented
  • I searched existing reports to see if it is already requested.

What is the user problem or growth opportunity you want to see solved?

The keyboard will be lost after switching to a different workspace in sway.
This may be a bug related to wayland.
If each workspace has its own instance of rofi, the problem may be alleviated.

How do you know that this problem exists today? Why is this important?

as above

Who will benefit from it?

sway users or wayland users

As mentioned in BOLD in the template and the guidelines:

Please do not submit reports related to wayland, see here for more information.
