Scrolling through items instead of paging

Dear rofi users,

I use heavily rofi in my configurations e.g., to select a wallpaper, power menu etc.

I have a question:
When I list wallpapers as items, there are more items available that can be displayed in one page. When I use the mouse wheel to "scroll" through the wallpapers, paging is enabled.

Is there a possibility to use scrolling through items instead of paging?

I was able to solve it with scroll-method: 1 in the initial configuration.

BUT: How can I disable now the effect that the list starts scrolling when I move the mouse the the lower part of the window or upper part. I only want to use the mousewheel and the scrollbar.

Could disable the effect with hover-select: false;
