Steps to reproduce the bug

Open a dataset with categories
Set up a scatter plot with category faceting
Toggle labels for 'selection'
Make a selection outside of the scatter plot (e.g., the data table)

Observed Behavior

Labels are showing, but points are not colored accordingly

Expected Behavior

Labels are showing, and selected points are colored correctly.
