Scatter plot sometimes does not render points

In bioinsight it occasionally happens that single points in scattervis wont get rendered, while the data seems to be correct.
Also the scale adapts accordingly and the tooltip is present.
This especially happens when we filter in categories with single data points.
It is very likely a scattervis problem, as everything works fine in the bar chart using the exact same logic.
