Previous connections do not get removed when the starting material have been changed

I had to change the starting material of one of my cells and noticed that even if the starting material has been removed and new ones have been added to the cell, it still shows the previous ones connected to the cell in graph view.
Below I have attached images of a test I did with few test samples and a cell to see whether this happens repeatedly.
