The 8bitdo 64 controller is fully supported by Blueretro when the controller is set to Switch mode but unfortunately the control stick accuracy is much worse than when in D-input mode.
This was confirmed to me by 8bitdo support.
"When the joystick is in S-mode, it performs more complex digital conversion based on the host device it is connected to, which results in lower accuracy compared to the joystick performance in D-input mode."
The games are tough to play as intended with how the stick performs in S-mode.
The accuracy of the stick is very good in D-input mode and one can map the B-button to work. Only rumble is not supported.
Since the controller connects to the Analogue 3D console in D-mode with rumble support, I'm wondering if it would be possible to enable it for Blueretro as well to use on the original console.
