I have recently started using darktable to complete some image processing tasks, and I really like it. I usually enjoy using the slideshow feature to browse my pictures. But I noticed that there are no buttons to switch between the top and bottom images in the UI design here, nor are there options to return to the first and last images (of course, we can use the left and right keys on the keyboard to control image switching). But I hope this place can be more user-friendly for users who like mouse operation (such as myself). Can I submit a PR for this? Does the community welcome modifications on the UI? Of course, I will be very careful and ensure simplicity and aesthetics.

Sure any PR are welcome, it will get reviewed and accepted if properly done. If you have any question do not hesitate. I think that for those actions we don't want to add default key binding except if those are bound to well known home / end key. TIA.

I'm moving this to 5.2 at this stage as we are in feature freeze on 5.0 now.
