Processing Anamorphic Photos

Is there a way to rescale an image taken with Anamorphic lens in Darktable?

I was thinking of getting a Siru Anamorphic lens, it would be nice if this is the first step during processing of the photo.

I was search and people say that you need to use export to change the size. This is not ideal, since you will not be able to see how the final image look like, during processing.

I can't find any information about Anamorphic lenses in Darktable.
