I’d like to formally self-nominate for the Dapr Community Manager role.

I’m a Program and Community Manager with several years of experience building, scaling, and operating high-impact developer communities across Africa and globally. I’m passionate about open source ecosystems and community-led growth, and Dapr’s mission and community-first values strongly resonate with me.

Relevant Experience & Alignment with Dapr

• Led engagement, growth, and retention for a 55,000+ member developer community across Slack, Circle, Discord, newsletters, and events
• Designed and executed large-scale community reactivation campaigns, successfully re-engaging churned members and increasing active participation
• Built scalable community systems including onboarding flows, operations handbooks, moderation frameworks, and event playbooks
• Co-planned, hosted, and moderated community calls and live events, increasing attendance by up to 70% and improving engagement quality
• Sourced and supported speakers, curated community highlights and show-and-tell segments, and published recordings and follow-up content
• Managed brand social accounts (Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn), announcing releases, events, and community programs
• Reviewed and published community blog posts and contributor content, with a strong focus on recognition and visibility
• Proposed and managed partnerships with adjacent tech and open-source communities to drive ecosystem growth
• Used community and web analytics tools (including Google Analytics and community platforms) to track community health, growth trends, and top issues
• Regularly reported insights and surfaced community needs to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and decision-making
