Of the 861 tested plugins:
<...>
60 (6.97%) are in “testing”, which means someone started test and abandoned the process.
I noticed that my hand mechanically tries to click Create a new test environment instead of Open Editor. I assume that the plugin will stay in the testing state, if one day I don't manage to stop myself.
So I propose to exchange the background colors of these buttons when the testing mode is active. Let's make the Open Editor button blue, because it indicates the actual useful action.
And at this time, let the button Create a new test environment turn gray to attract less attention. (Moreover, when somebody clicks, it can ask for confirmation: "Are you sure?")

By chance I double-clicked the button Create a new test environment. After that I got two pages with two different plugins in the history of my browser.
But I found that only the last one has the Open Editor button. So I can go back to the first plugin and edit its information, but I can't launch its sandbox.
I got out the following way. I started with the last of these two plugins, and then deactivated the tested plugin and installed the missing plugin instead. As far as I can see, now everything is ok.
But I must say that the skipped plugin would remain in the testing status, if I did not notice the second click on the same button.
