The post_updated_messages filter fires when loading a post in the Classic Editor. It's a documented way of modifying the labels used in update notifications (e.g. 'Post published.').

There are no Gutenberg equivalents for this filter. See WordPress/gutenberg#3315 for discussion on how to accommodate.
