I was upgrading an old laptop with two 4GB PC3-10600 memory modules and it turned out PC3-8500 was absolutely needed instead. What’s a man to do? Of course rewrite the EEPROM to re-bin the memory module as a slower model!

There’s CRC of the first 116 bytes saved in 0x7e-7f.

It should be the first 117 bytes [0x00, 0x74].
