Colorbar for Legend

I currently have my edges change on the weight between nodes. I have looked all over for Colorbars to incorporate as a legend for this purpose and have found no results. Mainly a built in colorbar could be able to provide dynamic results, as in the scale might change depending on the users specified scale. However currently the only real way to get a colorbar inside is to save as an image and host it that way but like I said this does not provide proper scaling. Just wondering what would be the best methodology to go about this, or should I just omit the scale all together and instead just display what the scale is on the top in numbers and no colorbar?
