Cytoscape in a subcontainer

Hello,
All of the tutorials show that the graphe vizualization spans over the entire webpage, but is there a way to put the graph below some other visualization. I mean nested in some other container? Sorry if my question is very basic or if I am not using appropriate words, I am new to webdev.
