For what it's worth, I've got a similar thing for my own use here: https://github.com/elliefm/cyrus-libs

Main differences are that it uses the real upstreams (with some magic to get icu from subversion), it uses a Makefile rather than a build.sh, and it doesn't include jansson or xapian yet
