It wouldn't be too hard to implement, but VSCode's mechanism to detect which window is focused has been flaky for us in the past. But we haven't tried in a couple years so may have improved, and if it's an opt-in setting then probably ok? |

Another new user here. I very much second this. I usually have two editors side-by-side in VSCode, and I find myself accidentally making edits in the non-active one when I get an utterance wrong or a word is misidentified. |

As a new user I would find it beneficial to only show hats on my focused window. As someone who codes with multiple VSCode panes open, it is a bit overwhelming that my primary window can sometimes have more penalized hat color/symbols. Any thoughts on this possible feature?
