Problem

The listing description says:

"GitHub-derived engineering acceleration signals for ~400 venture-backed startups across 20 sectors."

Both numbers are stale. The source repo (kindrat86/mcp-deal-flow-signal, linked as Source on the listing) now reports the live dataset: 350+ startups across 15 sectors (live count 369 today).

The "20 sectors" figure is an old research taxonomy (5 sectors were frozen in Q2-2026); the live MCP server exposes 15. The "~400" is a rounded marketing figure that drifted above the live count.

Requested change

Update the description to:

"GitHub-derived engineering acceleration signals for 350+ venture-backed startups across 15 sectors. Tools: trending, sector lookup, individual startup signal, dataset summary, scout receipts, methodology. No auth, refreshed weekly."

Updated correction request (the source repo kindrat86/mcp-deal-flow-signal is now fixed and consistent with the live API).

Ground truth, live API (https://signals.gitdealflow.com/api/signals.json): 411 startups / 15 sectors, Q3 2026, refreshed weekly.

The listing at https://cursor.directory/plugins/vc-deal-flow-signal-mcp-1 currently reads:

• "~400 venture-backed startups across 20 sectors" -> should be "400+ venture-backed startups across 15 sectors"
• "filter by one of 20 sector slugs" -> the 15 active sector slugs
• "Q2 2026 data" -> "Q3 2026 data"
• The example slugs "devtools, infra, security, biotech" are not real slugs. The 15 active slugs are: healthcare, edtech, ecommerce-infrastructure, supply-chain, web3, enterprise-saas, data-infrastructure, robotics, legal-tech, hr-tech, proptech, agtech, gaming, space-tech, social-community

The source repo now carries the correct counts in README.md, glama.json, server.json, package.json, and src/server.ts, plus Open Plugins standard files (.mcp.json + rules/), so any re-scan should self-correct.
