When looking at diffs on notebooks on Github and even when using nbdime, there's quite a bit of noise that still gets caught after a cleanup. For example, see this commit. Could/should we clean/remove:

  • Whether a cell is collapsed or not
  • The prompt number

It seems to be covered in the other pull request you made that I just approved. At least, it removes all meta-data.
