Product bulk purchase discounts

What are you trying to do?
It would be great if discounts or products could support minimum quantity amounts so that bulk purchase discounts could be applied to the users cart if they order between a certain range per product.

What's your proposed solution?
There are 2 possible routes.

1. Discounts could have an option for when it is applied, for example; when a product is added a number of times.
   This could be entered as an amount which needs to be reached, multiple discounts could be associated with a product so that multiple discounts could be added for the different quantities of the same product, 10% off of 10+, 15% off of 20+
2. Products could contain a field which could control the price per quantity amount, for example, the field would allow a user to enter one or multiple quantities amounts and their price if the quantity reached that amount in the cart. This could be added to the variants so that there can be different discount amounts per variant.

Either option would allow a rate or percentage as discounts do at the moment.
