Image of Example

Unicode symbols working elsewhere in Joplin, don't respond when clicked in Outline (meaning, they don't move the note to the clicked location).

Other normal headings in the same note as these symbols continue to behave as expected.

Not a critical thing, only affecting those who like to have "visual tags", but if it's not a difficult fix, it would be nice to have.

Not sure if this fits into what the OP was referring to but I have italicised headings showing up correctly in markdown view, but they show up as raw markdown in the Outline e.g. - My Heading *Italicised Bit*

This issue is no longer present in pre-release Joplin 1.8.1 (prod, linux).

It may be down to this change, I don't know, put very happy to see it working.

Now a unicode character in a header like below work as expected

I updated the latest version of joplin and found that titles with emojis already work. This is great.

Refs are still not working. Tested on joplin 1.8.5 (prod, darwin) with plugin v1.2.1

e.g.

# journalctl cleanup ^[journalctl: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1012912/systemd-logs-journalctl-are-too-large-and-slow]
