Is it possible and/or easy to setup this project to download all my activities from SportTracks to local storage either as tcx/gpx/fit files?

I tried to use the project's production site to get a copy of 12+ years of activities to Dropbox a while ago using the SportTracks.mobi but it didnt get everything. I was a long time user of the PC version of the product and just want a copy of my data in a format where I could potentially import it into something else.

Most of my stuff now goes through Garmin to Sporttracks and I am using GarminExport to get a copy of that data.

I appreciate the help. Thank you!

This would be useful. I’m a long time sporttracks user and over the years have tried most utilities but keep coming back to ST. I’ve been using Training Peaks for a year but have decided to let the subscription lapse.

My current and planned setup is to continue with Sporttracks in the cloud but keep data locally in GoldenCheetah. I’ve tried exporting from ST but it saves as csv and GC is producing errors.

I hoped I’d be able to use tapiriik or FitnessSyncher to get all my workouts into a Dropbox folder but that isn’t working either.

I paid for tapiriik to download my files which spanned at the time from 2009-2022. There were events missing but I was able to extrapolate which ones they were and now I just have to figure out what to do with them.

My goal is to have a local backed up copy of the highest quality fitness files since I started tracking so if I want to move from service to service, I have the originals. I use a python script now to download my FIT files from Garmin so I have those. I am just looking for a one-time historical backup.

What didnt work with tapiriik? I paid the $2 and it worked well although it obviously took longer than normal because it was downloading 13 years of fitness :)

In the past I've donated a fair bit to tapiriik - but I think the payment is unrelated. I'm only really interested in having a local copy of my data so that it's not reliant on the cloud. I thought Dropbox was the way to go, and I'm pretty sure I used to have it working once. But now it just reports an error. I've tried disconnecting/reconnecting/re-authorizing.
