MAME Netlist filtering in system16b

I not see any information how to contact you.

In MAME several previous versions was added Netlist in system16b.
I remember mameinfo had information about it that was added for filtering, but that information was removed from mameinfo.

Netlist was added in system16b only for filtering sound ?
Filtering sound is about try simulate an sound similar to arcade speaker ?

I also remember that in previous mameinfo had information about run system16b unfiltered sound.
Run unfiltered sound fo system16b is possible using any command line ?

I only wait understand as netlist work in system16b and if is for simulate arcade speaker is better having the sound filtered.
