Zenoh as a communication middleware?

Hi,

Just found out about Copper (from your upcoming talk at the Robotics Summit & Expo), and it looks very interesting.

I see that you are using Iceoryx for IPC. My suggestion would be to take a look at Zenoh (https://zenoh.io), which is a next-generation protocol implemented in Rust that supports both shared memory and networked communications. It also already has an RMW for ROS + Zenoh to DDS gateways, so it could provide an easy way to integrate ROS with Copper.

I am looking forward to the future developments of Copper!

Indeed, we have been discussing that on the discord server for a while and a couple folks volunteered to contribute to implemented both Zenoh and a DDS bridge!
