Feature Request - Add retry options

The JavaScript SDK allows setting retry options for request (e.g. retryLimit and retryDelay).
Can those be added to this SDK as well?

We’ve reviewed the SDK, and happy to confirm that both retryLimit and retryDelay are already fully supported and functional in @contentstack/delivery-sdk.

✅ Summary of Findings

• Both options are part of the stack configuration and can be customized when initializing the SDK.
• Configuration is propagated correctly through the SDK stack — from StackConfig → HttpClient → Retry Handlers.
• Retry behavior is active by default and applies to rate-limiting (429), unauthorized (401), and any custom retry conditions you define.

Default values:

retryLimit: 5
retryDelay: 300 // milliseconds

Both settings are also accessible at runtime via:

stack.config.retryLimit
stack.config.retryDelay

🧪 Test & Implementation Notes

• Comprehensive unit, integration, and core module tests validate the retry logic and configuration flow.
• The feature has been enhanced and verified in versions 4.10.0+.
• Both properties are included in type definitions and actively used by the internal retry handlers.

You can safely use retryLimit and retryDelay today — they’re production-ready, tested, and configurable per stack instance.
