For privacy, non-public root packages should be anonymized as "private".
This feature will be very helpful to understand major dependant packages better.
Example usecase: The malkusch/lock package has installs in millions, but for 2.x version only, for 3.x (the latest major) the installs are quite low - I would be happy if I can see which dependant package(s) are still allowing the older 2.x only.
Example usecase II: The install numbers are often very skewed as a few packages install some packages frequently using CI/cron. This feature would allow to understand the "real" installs better.

In https://packagist.org/packages/malkusch/lock/stats I would very warmly welcome to display TOP 100 source root packages ordered by installs per last 90 days.
