Unable to read from the browser's clipboard

1. A toast with Unable to read from the browser's clipboard keeps appearing in the lower right corner
2. I'm quite sure it is from one of the extensions, any idea how to trace it?

Just to confirm, you are using https yeah? If so, maybe you will need to check the permissions granted for that domain in your browser. Maybe it was denied at some point?

Not sure about tracing. Maybe the dev console will say more? Otherwise maybe you will have to enable each extension one at a time to figure out which one it is.

Not necessarily, VS Code has fallbacks for copying and pasting that avoid using the browser's clipboard API, but sometimes those fallbacks will not work (like from extensions) and they have to try the clipboard API, which can fail if permissions have not been granted.

Another thing is to check the browser console, it might give us a more specific error, although I am not sure.

Quite certain it's Gemini Code Assist extension + it's doing other funny things behind our backs, e.g. writing logs until the entire storage is full
