Unable to install due to dependency on Python2 #9

After cloning and running npm install, an error pops up during the installation of node-gyp. One of the nested dependencies was in python2.

Currently using:
Win10
node 16.13.1
Python 3.10

npm ERR! gyp verb check python checking for Python executable "python" in the PATH
npm ERR! gyp verb `which` succeeded python C:\Users\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\python.EXE
npm ERR! gyp ERR! configure error
npm ERR! gyp ERR! stack Error: Command failed: C:\Users\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\python.EXE -c import sys; print "%s.%s.%s" % sys.version_info[:3];
npm ERR! gyp ERR! stack     import sys; print "%s.%s.%s" % sys.version_info[:3];
npm ERR! gyp ERR! stack SyntaxError: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'. Did you mean print(...)?
