calculating surface curvature, colorizing curvature

On Jan 27, 2017, I asked for a new feature, to calculate "Shape index" and "curvedness" in addition to the standard options (mean curvature, Gaussian curvature, etc). My suggested functionality was implemented in Color Creation and Processing -> compute curvature principal directions. Thanks very much! I am wondering about two things at the moment: 1) when colorizing Mean curvature, what does the color mapping mean? That is, what exactly does blue, green, yellow, and red indicate? I just want to be sure. 2) Since the calculations of shape index and curvedness have been implemented in one place, could "shape index" and "curvedness" be added as options in the relevant pull down menus for the functions "Colorize curvature (APSS)" and "Colorize curvature (RIMLS)"?
