Description of the bug

Apologies for the unhelpful ness, but I didn't get a Screenshot of the specific W-Y Error Screen thingie.

But during hijack an admin sound was played. I didn't hear it I presume it was someone's awful taste in music.

I just decided to hit the Stop button, and it broke my chat completely. Being Hijack I kinda just hoped Fix-chat would work instantly, and it kind of did but all my preferences got wiped.

What's the difference with what should have happened?

Chat shouldn't be completely bricked from stopping a admin sound that isn't actually being heard by yourself.

And the aftermath shouldn't wipe your preferences

How do we reproduce this bug?

1. Admin plays a sound
2. You don't hear the sound
3. Hit the stop button anyway
4. Cry
   ...
