When syncing directories where files are constantly written, for example games saves directories, certain files occasionally get permanently stuck in a "pending" or "syncing" state. The client never uploads them, I checked between the web and the Desktop App, for the desktop it says the file has been modified today, but on the web it says it's been modified last day.
Expected behavior:
Files modified or saved by an external application should be queued and successfully synced to the server.
Actual behavior:
Specific files (e.g., Playtime.bin, cn.dat) well be stuck in a pending/sync state. The client ignores further changes to the file.
Steps to reproduce:
- Set up a local sync folder pointing to an active game save directory.
- Launch the game and trigger in-game auto-saves or manual saves.
- Some files will get stuck trying to sync.
My workaround:
Currently, the only way to force the file to sync is to manually drag the stuck files out of the watched directory (e.g., to the Desktop) and then move it back. This force uploading it to the server.
My Setup:
- OS: Windows 11
- Cloudreve Client Version: v0.2.0
- Cloudreve Server Version: v4.15.0
