How to decide between formats
Database vs File tradeoffs (see @kylebarron sprint presentation)
dataset vs file-based search (that is, most of these formats only have file-based metadata, not dataset metadata. Kerchunk and Zarr are the exception)
Cost-considerations of different formats, performance testing considerations
