Is variable bit-rate supported? #47

hello, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this... is it possible to configure the recorder to use variable bit-rate? For longer recordings, I'd like to maintain quality but reduce the size of the file. In all the examples I see it seems like you configure a static bitrate in kbps. Thanks!
