Do you think Clear Linux documentation needs a new document? Please describe.
There have been a lot of repeated questions asking how to install Steam. The /usr/bin/steam included from the linux-steam-integration packages adds confusion. It would be worth documenting the current state.

Should the new document be a guide, a reference, or a tutorial?

Describe or provide examples of similar documents, if possible, from other web sites
https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=How-To-Steam-Clear-Linux

The document should cover flatpak install, manual install, and mention the separation of wine between Clear Linux native and Proton.

Funny enough, I just installed steam on my system at home over the holidays, following the forum posts and it is working well.

I've installed Steam but not using the deb package. You'd be able to find a tarball release here: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Steam_under_Linux

The only problem is it's by default installed to /usr.

If no one is currently working on this I may write a draft.
