I'd like to have a option where we could filter the tweets sent, such as: if it's to show reposts or not, include mentions of/made by other users or omit them, show only tweets with images or videos or both/none of those and if it contains links to other social media that aren't Twitter.

You mean the app, right? Using the python module you’ll have the option to check whether it's an RT or not. And those other analyses can be done in the CSV, for example.
