[question] music player in background ?

Hi, I'd like your opinion, to know if it would be technically possible to use your project for a need, I'll explain:
I have a R36S on Arkos (ubuntu 19.10)
when starting arkos it loads emustation which starts emulators such as retroarch which starts a game.

I would like to know if it would be possible to have a music player in the background, which we could access via the main menu (or options) to load a playlist contained on the SD card, and play it while playing, for example retroarch.

I don't know if my question is too clear, but let me know.
