An important part of many personal sites is an online resume. I know many have made career advancements thanks to their personal site.
This are custom blocks as a variation on columns block. They have some preset values and layout, but didn't require a full on custom block. The danger of using a block variation is that the block could be changed (unless you lock it).
This block appears to be a full on block, but it's only a block variation of a column block. It has preset some innerblocks to keep formatting consistent. There are also some custom styles in place.
