Integrate a feature that allows users to look-up term definitions and guidance within the application. E.g. accessible via a button or from within a drop-down menu. Could reference the "term-level reference guide" or the material generated from the gSheet.

It may be possible to have this work with a mouse-over "tool tip" - if one keeps mouse hovering over single or multi-select item, tool tip floating message reveals definition. I'd try that as the least invasive way to present users with a message.

But we could have a term-level reference guide too as an auto-generated document. What do people think/want?

Love it!

I think the floating tool tip idea sounds like a better user experience - as the fewer steps it takes to get to the information the more like the information gets to the user (in my opinion).

Then we could simply link to the field level guide auto-generated document in the drop-down "Help" menu.

This feature will be able to use OLS4 API for term lookup: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols4/help
