I’m trying something novel: instead of setting up a Reddit or other such place for general comments on my writing, I’m going to open a Discussion for discussion (!) for my posts here.

Feel free to comment, ask questions, disagree, etc.—even, if you like, to suggest post ideas (though I distinctly cannot promise to act on those!). However, some basic ground rules apply:

• be kind, even in disagreement with me or others
• assume the best, especially in disagreement
• remember that this is my space, and you have zero “right” to it: I will moderate it very actively
