CPACSCreator not running on Windows 10 due to "Entry Point Not Found" error

Hello Everyone!

After installation of [CEASIOMpy] on Windows 10 following the instructions given. I am facing an error of "Entry Point Not Found" shown in the picture attached.

I tried all kinds of different solutions found on this error online, however; non of them were specific to cpacscreastor.exe, nevertheless, nothing have worked so far.

I am wondering if someone here can help guide in overcoming this error.

Hello,

First I have to admit, CEASIOMpy is not well developed and tested on Windows, I only tested it through a virtual machine and got a lot of trouble. Most of the development are made with Linux and MacOS. If by any chance you know how to use virtual machine, I advise you to setup a Ubuntu 20.04 for example and the installation/use of CEASIOMpy should be mush simpler on it.

Questions from my side:

• Did you get any trouble to create the Conda environment during the installation?
• Did you run the command: pip install -e . ?
• How did you run CEASIOMpy (which command did you run?)

You could maybe try to go in CEASIOMpy\src\bin and run directly:

.\ceasiompy_run.bat
