It's technically not required you can fill a cookie from a browser that is not connected to a Google account. You'll be able to play musics but obviously you will not be able to check your playlists or anything like that. Note that the music download isn't linked to your cookies so YouTube doesn't have a way execpt for your IP address to know you are downloading this music. An unregistered mode could be a good idea that autogenerates the cookie.
i was thinking if you would need invidious or other alternate frontends for that but if you can create unregistered mode which could autogenerate cookie and use then it will be awesome.
just curious will you use playwright or other headless automation framework to open youtube and create session cookie or any other interesting way? :-)) @ccgauche
