How to detect portal windows/buffers?

I try to keep the portal windows/buffers a bit more minimal. Because it feels hard to see the labels and content fast if there is so much noise around. Setting the window option style = "minimal" already helps a lot. But there are still signs displayed and my window bar is displayed.
I don't know if it would be possible to do these things from the configuration of this plugin. Or if I need to detect the portal windows from my window bar plugin. But in the latter case: how would I do that?
