Under the Your Choices preferences panel, there is an option for Information Storage and Access along with a plain technical description. It isn't clear to me what that actually encompasses or whether other preferences are dependent on it; I wonder if it might not be clearly understood by casual/non-technical users.
As an example of what I mean, if I choose to enable the Preferences and Functionality preference, is it implicit that such cookies will also be stored on my device to be remembered for future visits/sessions or does that require me to separately enable the Information Storage and Access preference, too? If the latter, are there potential issues the user should be aware of by also enabling it when their intention is to only allow Preferences and Functionality choices to be remembered?
