I am offering a suggestion that it could make more sense to teach the How we operate section before the instructor training checkout section.
The reason being that we introduce jargon, the process for organizing, and the roles available with the carpentries in how we operate, and that leads nicely into the concrete steps to becoming an instructor.

I think this is a good idea, but I thought I remembered them being in the other order at one point, but there is no explanation for why this particular swap was made.
I think @carpentries/trainers-leadership would need to discuss a change like this.

until 2018, how we operate was before checkout. Then checkout was swapped from last to earlier. The related PR doesn't include much discussion though (and was closed, but the commits are merged, it's unclear what happened.
